The long grass danced, the cloud shadows filled me up like a delicious dessert
The reflected light on the aspens a lullaby that sang me to sleep
The way the sun illuminated the trees high up on the horizon
felt like a story waiting to be told
I was coming home
A home I had been searching for my entire life
And that home was within me
Hidden until I understood how to see it
You helped me arrive, unfold, and recognize
that the beauty that is all around us is also within me.
